  12.     REBEL 3.0 has been developed to satisfy the demand for a spreadsheet 
  13.     that offers unlimited customization potential.  The entire spreadsheet 
  14.     is patterned after a high level programming language.  By adding new 
  15.     functions and utilities, it can be tailored to fit the needs of 
  16.     virtually any user group.

  18.     REBEL requires NO REGISTRATION FEE to use, copy, or distribute. It
  19.     may even be packaged with other products or services.  For complete

  27.          REBEL requires an IBM PC or compatible with at least 384K
  28.          of memory, running DOS 2.1 or higher.

  35.          it, use the dos PRINT or COPY command.  If possible,

  64.             COGO.RB2        (an example survey that uses many of
  65.                              the Coordinate Geometry functions)
  66.             MATRIX.RB2      (a general worksheet that contains an

  70.          To load a worksheet, press the F3 function key twice from
  71.          the Root Function Key Menu, and enter the worksheet's name
  72.          (with or without the extension).

  77.     STANDARD SCRIPT LIBRARY

  79.          Scripts are one of the most powerful features offered by 
  80.          REBEL.  They extend the power and capabilities of the 
  81.          spreadsheet by allowing you to access functions, 
  82.          utilities, and even full applications that can be tailored 
  83.          to your specific needs.  They are also easy to use. 
  84.          Simply, reference the library that contains the script(s)
  85.          you want and REBEL's powerful Script Manager will handle 
  86.          the rest for you.  For example, to access the scripts in 
  87.          REBEL's standard library, STDLIB.REB, simply start the 
  88.          program using the -L: option (followed immediately by the 
  89.          name of the library):

  94.          contained in STDLIB.DOC.

  99.     CHANGES (for existing users)

  101.          The built-in FINANCIAL functions have been eliminated from
  102.          this version of REBEL.  They're now scripts.  If you've
  103.          used any of these functions in any of your worksheets, you
  104.          will have to change their names to ALL UPPER CASE LETTERS.
  105.          You will also have to 'attach' REBEL's standard script
  106.          library file, STDLIB.REB, each time you start the program.
  107.          To do this, use the -L: option (followed immediately by the
  108.          name of the library):

  115.     WRITING YOUR OWN SCRIPTS

  117.       All versions of REBEL 3.0 and higher come with a built-in Script 
  118.       Manager that can access and execute scripts found in any (.REB)
  119.       library file.  Writing and creating these libraries, however, is
  120.       an optional feature that requires a license for REBEL's Script
  121.       Library Builder.  The cost of this additional software is $29.00
  122.       (see Order Form).
